Personalised Rustic Log Stands – Handcrafted with Love, No Lasers, Real wood!
Each of my personalised log stands is carefully handcrafted using freehand pyrography – no stencils, no lasers, no printing – just traditional wood burning by hand for a truly unique and rustic finish.All log slices are made from sustainable, natural English larch timber, sourced from responsibly managed woodlands and forests. These are real log slices, not manufactured imitations. They are raw, freshly sawn, and full of natural character.
🌿 About the Timber
Logs are approx. 3" thick to provide a solid, deep rustic look with lots of bark.Sanded on one side for a smooth finish, perfect for your celebration.
Timber is fresh (green wood), which means it contains natural moisture. As it dries, it may develop cracks and movement – this is completely normal and adds to its charm. It will not affect the strength or usability of the log.
Suitable for repeated use at events and celebrations.
🔥 Personalisation Details
Your personal message is burnt into the wood by hand – no machines involved!
Writing is placed approx 2” from the edge to allow space for your cake.
For best fit, order a log at least 4” larger than your cake board.🗓️ When to Order
Best to order 2–3 weeks before your event or pre-orders welcome adding event date.
We always have a good supply of timber – no need to worry about running out!
🪵 Optional Oiling
You can choose to have your log oiled with food-safe oil to help nourish the wood.
Even when oiled, logs will naturally move and crack over time – this is part of the drying process and adds rustic beauty.
To maintain the log, you can reapply Danish oil or butcher's block oil.Urgent dispatch available too, please message first.

Sizes are approximate as not all trees are completely round and thickness is cut as near to size as possible. We aim to supply you with a perfect log but due to it's nature there might be slight imperfections. Various dimensions are available but if you can't see what you require then please ask as we can cut different depths and sizes. Rustic logs are also listed in our shop which are as near to nature as you can get. Please take a look. Oiling the log with food friendly oil is also an option listed to help nourish the wood but please note that the log is still green and fresh which means it will move slightly overtime which is a natural drying out process especially in warm environment this adds to its character and looks. There is no guarantee that your log won't split eventually but re-applying with oil can help to prolong. Butchers block oil or danish oil is ideal as both are food friendly. Best to order as near to venue date as possible - two weeks is ideal. (2-3 weeks if treating). If ordering in advance please add the venue date - please do not be tempted to receive the log too early. Unwrap the log as soon at it arrives to allow your log to breath.
