All of our log slices are made from sustainable natural timber and are real log slices. They are a raw product.   We advise recieving the stand near to the venue date. Fresh timber has a high moisture content which will  show movement and cracks as the wood dries out over time. This adds to it's natural character and beauty, it will not affect the strength of the log and can be used over and over again.   If your celebration is further away than 6 weeks please order at a later date. Ideally ordering near to the venue date or a couple of weeks before is best.  We have a good supply of timber so don't worry about stock running out.  If you do need to order in advance for any reason please message me first. Gorgeous 16" round rustic log slice x 4" high, cut extra thick to give a nice deep look with lots of bark. Sawn fresh from English larch timber supplied from sustainable woodlands and managed forests.  As you can see Its beautiful enough as it is but can be smoothed by sanding and oiling. 
Sizes are approximate as not all trees are completely round and thickness is cut as near to size as possible.   We aim to supply you with a perfect log but due to it's nature there might be slight imperfections.  Various dimensions are available along with oiling if required. Please ask.
Please note that greenwood can move slightly overtime which is a natural drying out process especially in warm environment this adds to its character and looks. There is no guarantee that your log won't split over a length of time but treating with oil can help to prolong. 
Best to order as near to venue date as possible - two weeks is ideal. Unwrap the log as soon at it arrives to allow your log to breath. PLEASE READ CARE INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED WITH EACH LOG PURCHASED.
