We are proud to say that all our timber slices are produced from real English Home grown round timber sourced from sustainable managed forest and woodlands.  The slice you'll receive will be freshly sawn and cut especially for you. These slices are not mass/factory produced, bought in or light in weight. THIS IS A REAL SLICE OF WOOD
Ideally it is best to order approx 2-3 weeks before your venue date or pre-order adding the date for dispatch.
Our Gorgeous rustic log slices are cut approx 3"  thick to give a nice deep look with complete bark.  Sanded and oiled on one side  to give a nice smooth appearance and attractive look. Oiling with food friendly oil helps to nourish the wood prolonging the drying out process. 
Sizes are approximate as not all trees are completely round and thickness is cut as near to size as possible.   We aim to supply you with a perfect log but due to it's nature there might be slight imperfections.  Various dimensions are available but if you can't see what you require then please ask.
Rustic log stands are also supplied without being sanded and oiled, these are a very popular choice and are as near to nature as you can get! - please look at our other listings.
Although these slices have been treated (oiled) please note that  the log is still green and fresh which means it move slightly overtime which is a natural drying out process especially in warm environment this adds to its character and looks. There is no guarantee that your log won't split over a length of time but re-applying with oil can help to prolong. Butchers block oil or danish oil is ideal as these both are food friendly.
Unwrap the log as soon at it arrives to allow your log to breath. PLEASE READ CARE INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED WITH EACH LOG PURCHASED.
