All of our log slices are made from sustainable natural timber and are real log slices and are used for display purpose only - no chemicals or treatments are used on our logs. Please add a barrier such as a foil cake board between the cake and log to keep things fresh and food-friendly.🪵 Product Details:

Approx. 3" thick offering various diameter sizes and personalised option.Each log slice is freshly sawn and made to order — no two are exactly alike! Due to the nature of real wood, shapes may not be perfectly round and slight imperfections or natural movement in the wood can occur as it dries. This adds to the unique charm of every piece. Sizes are all approximate.
Please note that the log is still green and fresh which means it will dry out and crack overtime which is a natural drying out process especially in warm environment this adds to its character and looks. There is no guarantee that your log won't eventually split, applying oil can help nourish the wood helping to prolong drying out but it won't stop it entirely.

Ideally it's best to order approx 3 weeks before your venue date or pre-order adding the date in notes for dispatch. Being a fresh raw natural product there may be a short usage time as we can not guarantee the movement of the wood as it dries out. This is the beauty of Mother Nature and adds to the character! Sizes are approximate as not all trees are completely round and thickness is cut as near to size as possible. We aim to supply you with a perfect log but due to it's nature there might be slight imperfections. It is best to order as near to the venue date as possible - two weeks is ideal. Unwrap the log as soon at it arrives to allow your log to breath other wise it will sweat in the packaging. PLEASE READ CARE INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED WITH EACH LOG PURCHASED.
