All of our log slices are made from sustainable natural timber and are real log slices. They are a raw product.   We advise receiving the stand near to the venue date. Fresh timber has a high moisture content which will show movement and cracks as the wood dries out over time. This adds to its natural character and beauty, it will not affect the strength of the log and can be used over and over again.  Etsy will only allow pre-orders upto 4 weeks in advance.  Ideally ordering near to the venue date or a couple of weeks before is best.  We have a good supply of timber so don't worry about stock running out.  If you do need to order in advance for any reason, please message me first. Six Gorgeous sawn round rustic log slices approximate size 10" diameter x 2" thick, Sawn fresh from English larch timber supplied from sustainable woodlands and managed forests.  These Beautiful slices will make any table centre piece look stunning, great used with flowers and cakes! 
Sizes are approximate as not all trees are completely round; thickness is cut as near to size as possible.   We aim to supply you with a perfect log but due to it's nature there might be slight imperfections and loose bark. Various dimensions and quantities are available. Please ask.
Please note that greenwood can move slightly overtime which is a natural drying out process especially in a warm environment this adds to its character and looks. There is no guarantee that these logs won't split over a length of time but treating with oil can help to prolong. Butchers block oil is ideal as this is also food friendly. 
Best to order as near to venue date as possible - two weeks is ideal. (4 weeks if treating). Unwrap the log as soon as it arrives to allow your log to breath. PLEASE READ CARE INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED WITH EACH LOG PURCHASED.
