This listing is for our standard rustic slice  with a lovely smooth sanded surface.  cut approx. 3" (8cm) thick to give a nice deep look complete with bark. We also cut sizes to order with a rustic sawn finish, , oil and personalised which you can find in our other listings. If you can't see what you're looking for please ask as there are hundreds of different options. Sizes are approximate as not all trees are completely round, and thickness is cut as near to size as possible. We aim to supply you with a perfect log but due to it's nature there might be slight imperfections. Please note that greenwood can move slightly overtime which is a natural drying out process especially in warm environment this adds to its character and looks. There is no guarantee that your log won't split over a length of time but sanding and treating with oil can help to prolong. Danish oil or Butchers block oil are ideal as these are food friendly. It is best to order as near to the venue date as possible - two weeks is ideal. Unwrap the log as soon at it arrives to allow your log to breath other wise it will sweat in the packaging.
